Its in the cage, it does have a bulge. He seems to love it! I want to show you in a video but it won't let me post it.Sorry I only just caught up on this! They are a pain to put together the first time, but once you've done it once it gets much quicker and easier! It helps to practice putting it together and pulling it apart a few times. If the plastic joiner strip is in the middle of the orange ends, then when you push the front and back part together firmly there won't be a gap. But if the plastic joiner strip isn't quite in the middle you'll get the buckling at one side and a gap at the other.
Honestly once you've done it a few times it's a piece of cakeIt's just getting used to it. It's annoying they don't come ready assembled though the first time. I just bought the 9" one recently and mine came ready assembled.
It might be an idea, when he's asleep during the day tomorrow, to have a go at taking it apart and putting it together a couple of times. Did it come with instructions?
It looks amazing in the cage by the way and I bet he loves it!
I'll take it apart tomorrow and put it back together. Everyone has really helped me. My daughter has just joined rhe forum too! Daisymay7. She has a syrian, he's called spuddy...it's a lovely forum.
