Try putting the front on now & see if that pulls it back into shape, it should do hopefully!

It's strained the plastic. I can't see it lasting very long if I have to dismantle it to wash, such a shame as they're not cheap

It doesn’t look right but I’m not sure what the problem is sorry, someone else might have an idea.

As long as it works I’m sure Grommit will love it.

They are usuall very good quality, I have the 9” one, about five of them I think & never had any issues.

I had the same issue. I had to press very hard for it to go in! Then there was a gap and I had to press the plastic together very firmly too.

It's not going to last having that process every time I wash it.
Thanks for your help, thanks to everyone xx

When you wash it you do not have to open the track up. You can actually wash the wheel with the track in. Hopefully Grommit will not wee in his wheel so you can just wipe it with a damp cloth.

I am sure he is going to love his new wheel. You are amazing making sure everything is perfect for him.😍

That is so precious. I bet he investigates his wheel tonight when all is quiet.😊

Well here it is. He was very late waking because of the changes I think. He loves his wheel !!! Clever boy Grommit!!!

Sorry I only just caught up on this! They are a pain to put together the first time, but once you've done it once it gets much quicker and easier! It helps to practice putting it together and pulling it apart a few times. If the plastic joiner strip is in the middle of the orange ends, then when you push the front and back part together firmly there won't be a gap. But if the plastic joiner strip isn't quite in the middle you'll get the buckling at one side and a gap at the other.

Honestly once you've done it a few times it's a piece of cake :-) It's just getting used to it. It's annoying they don't come ready assembled though the first time. I just bought the 9" one recently and mine came ready assembled.

It might be an idea, when he's asleep during the day tomorrow, to have a go at taking it apart and putting it together a couple of times. Did it come with instructions?

It looks amazing in the cage by the way and I bet he loves it!
