It does give a very visual image :)

Albert came out to play last night. No poop 💩 throwing but he did investigate hubby's ear and then nibble it 🐹👂🤣

Would these beech chips be ok for Albert's dig box? It doesn't say suitable for hamsters so I'm not sure.

I'm not sure. Beech chips are generally ok, but it does say "coarse" and there are no reviews . Providing they're not splintery they should be fine. If you got a bag and they weren't fine, I'm sure they'd give you a refund.

The word "coarse" does worry me. Albert still loves digging in his cardboard chips that I cut up myself. But I thought he might like something different. I'll keep looking. I'm in no hurry.

I’m not sure if there are different grades or not, they look similar to these which I’m pretty sure are fine for hams but it’s hard to tell from photos.

There are different grades and i bought the fine grade i think. I can go to the shop tomorrow and check.

If i remember right they are by ProRep.

To give you an idea until i can check them out, here are the beech chips in my hand and the cork granules.

Keep forgetting to update on Albert's wheel.

Albert has had his Trixie Wheel, 20 cm for nearly a month now. He loves it and it's still running quietly. I'm very pleased with the quality and price (£10.89). My son ordered it for me from Amazon.

Yes, i bought the 10l bag of ProRep fine grade beech chips for £8.49.

They also sell the huge 25l bags and the course grade.

I'm going to a few independent pet shops over the weekend so hopefully I'll find some beech chips and cork granules there.

None of my hams have ever shown the slightest interest in those sorts of wooden chews, don’t know if others do though.
