I have decided against the pizza 
it’s only just starting to cool down and Nibbles is out. I had some broccoli a yogurt and kinder chocolate 
what a concoction
I am going to watch a bit of YouTube although I am itching to have a peek in the en-suite but I will wait a few days…

It must be lovelyI play pattens, it takes ages to learn, you have to get used to using both hands independently
It so soothing and a very natural sound, mine is D mol. Apparently the same frequency as nature (wind, running water ect)
Animals seem to really like it.
I have also got singing bowls, I use them before meditation or yoga. The sound is healing. They have the most fascinating history.

These are
most of them are dressed in orange and barefooted. when they toddle through the local supermarket they get some funny looks but they are friendly, just completely spaced out. My mum says that comes from too many headstands Day 4
Nibbles had a night out
I wanted to give him as much time in his playpen as he wanted, so I set an alarm for 1 am in case I nodded off. He was not ready to leave his beloved playpen, so alarm set for 2 am….. still no interest in leaving. Next phase 3.30 am. I failed and woke up at 4.45 am my usual wake up time! I went to the playpen: no Nibbles, I gently called him and heard a scuffing in the mch (the two bedroom one) I had placed it in the playpen with some cosy bedding in the second chamber. I gently lifted the lid and there he was curled up all cosy. He had taken his peanut and some other food with him. He looked at me but showed no sign of getting up, i gently scooped him up, he pouched his peanut
that was not being left there, and placed him in his house. He had a quick wash, pouched some food, came to the door to sniff me: good night mum 
and went to bed. 
He is definitely a very chilled little guy, I felt awful for failing the alarm, but it clearly didn’t bother him in the least. He is the type: wherever I lay my nut
that’s my home

that’s my home I just want to add (for anyone who doesn’t follow Nibbles diary) that his playpen is a second home to Nibbles. He had got everything he needs in there: a wheel, food, water, toys, sand bath, mch with bedding and chew sticks / dandelion roots. He has been in the playpen every evening/ night for weeks and demands to be placed there at 9 pm when he comes out. Not once has he been interested in trying to climb out. He couldn’t climb out, it is too high. And Nibbles has never tried to chew anything but wood. I slept or spent the first weeks next to the playpen every night on cushions on the kitchen floor, to make sure he is safe and happy there. He loves his playpen and I have problems getting him out in the week at 11 pm before I go to bed. I would not recommend anyone to try the same with their hamsters, as we know they are all individuals and react differently. His playpen and house are in a room which is hamster safe and where he has frequently free roamed and knows very well. He is not interested in free roaming there any longer, he just wants his playpen. I would not put him in danger at any time, I just want him to be as happy as possible and have as much freedom as I can safely give him.
Although he his very tame in the meantime and climbs onto my hand when he wants to, I do not pick him up or force him to interact with me. If he wants to, he can climb all over me or chill on my hand, but usually he is more interested in running in his wheel or playing.

You and Nibbles have such a lovely relationship. It is wonderful how Nibbles can ask for what he needs and how well understood he is and how trusting he is. Of course, each hamster is different and a more shy hammy might be less outgoing and confiding. It can be difficult to meet a hamster's needs, but Nibbles clearly feels heard and confident about expressing his needs. He is so charming

but if you had seen him snuggled up in his mch it was so sweet 
He really is a very chilled and confident little guy
And he was so happy last night that I didn’t disturb his playtime.
It’s good to know he feels so relaxed.
After the storm we have the most beautiful weather today it’s forecasted to be 22 degrees but already feels warmer, blue sky with a few sugar candy clouds

I have clean the balcony and put the flowers back, they are okay
I just got the information that the Bucatstate is on its way, I think it will be here within the next two weeks. I also got some sweet surprises for Nibbles exciting
I have ordered the bunny nature hamster mix, he dienst seem over keen on the mix I bought him from the Austrian shop
I read hear that bunny nature is good and when I read the reviews it seems well accepted. If anyone has any suggestions I would appreciate them I am sitting in the sun enjoying a cappuccino, I didn’t go back to sleep as I was not tired and have to catch up on cleaning washing ect

I was to fightend to get Nibbles out of the cage and Maz told me how important it is. It wasn’t Nibbles who wanted to come out, I offered him a jug to climb in and eventually he did, then I took him out (scared the life out of me 
) At first he got bored in the playpen, only when I put the wheel in there he really started to enjoy it. The more he went into the playpen, the bolder and more confident he got. Sometimes you have to gently pursued them.
If they just stay in their cages they will not learn that other places are safe and nice too.
For me it was so important to be able to get him out, in case of an emergency: vet, cage broken, deep cleaning, mite invasion ect
If you have a bathtub or an enclosure which is safe, give it a try. Maz would be able to give the best advice.
