A week starting on a Wednesday 😅

Thank you that’s very kind I was inspired by your blog, I so enjoyed reading it I am new to forums and have difficulty finding how it works I am more the excel woman. I better close it now, but will write updates in Nibbles diary he won’t mind if I share the odd off topic as long as I promise extra time in the playpen

I am so happy to experience that little Nibbles trusts me the neighbours next door are sitting outside drinking beer and the women are laughing and screeching at full volume he panicked a wee but, so I sat down next to the playpen and calmly explained that Germans are rather loud when they drink their beer and he’s not to worry. He came up to me listening and started eating his yogurt drop. He went from scared to chill immediately. It’s nice to know he trust me so much and that’s made my day. I hope it won’t spoil it when I steal the broccoli he took down in his nest but that can’t stay there in this weather…

Okay then I will continue for this week if it’s okay. I fully enjoyed reading Socks mums blog and thought it’s a good idea.

Today I just spent the afternoon cleaning and a parcel arrived for Nibbles: i ordered the three room mch as I am determined to try the little toilet. I didn’t consider there would be no room in the two room house
But having an extra cage the two room house will not be wasted, I am setting up an emergency cage in the cellar just in case temperatures rise extremely in summer. The cellar is nice and cool but very clean more like an extra room. I would place him there during the day but only in an emergency (well over 40 degrees).
The weather has really been extrem this may.
I am
Making tuna sandwiches for tea ️ and have cleaned the little trinkets and found a space for them.
I would like to build another book nook this summer, I hope to find one on offer. Knitting is not possible because my hand is still healing and drawing the same.
I need some kind of craftwork to do it’s so peaceful and calming.

My task is done I got that broccoli out and a rather squashy piece of something and the already terribly stinky bedding
Now I have put the new house in (49,- Euros!! he better like it)
It is the exact same one he had with an en-suite bathroom
Please cross your fingers he uses the toilet, my hands are so dry from frequently scrubbing the pee stink off them. He has a good amount of bedding so I am arm deep in the so to say
I don’t mind so much but worry about him sleeping in that environment.
Well we will see…
He’s very sociable tonight keeps coming to me and doing that funny noise bruxing, he brings a treat with him and leaves it in front of me (maybe my wages for clearing the mess? )
I will give him another hour and hope he behaves tonight, being Friday he might get 1 1/2

Day three.
Nibbles was still up this morning at 5 am foraging with his little pouches nice and round, I love that.
He had a good sandbath and climbed on his new roof to have a clean and went off to bed in his new house (luckily he accepted it without problems).
I heard him redecorate his nest and am curious if he inspected his new toilet and if he will actually use it.
Today heavy thunderstorms are forecasted and then we may have a week of rain.... at least no worry of the flat heating up

These book books are fascinating. I am quite obsessed with them. I don't have space for one, but have been looking at You Tube videos. I like the idea of the light at night. A nice alternative to a lamp maybe I'm sorry to hear that you are having problems with your hand after the accident

They are so tiny, they fit in any nook the light is not very bright, but they are so cute.
But the parts are so tiny! I sweated more building them than mucking out a stable
