Aw how can anyone ignore Sprite maybe just a little good morning from your partner but if he can't see him he probably doesn't think to speak to him.

Yes, he cannot see him as the room is so dark. Even if my partner says hello, Sprite would still want a treat.

Yesterday I was changing my bed linen. I happend to look up and saw Sprite begging at the glass of his cage. I picked him up right away and he enjoyed a pumpkin seed.

My OH gets that when he gets up during the night or when i'm at work. Eddie will meerkat nicely and look up at him. My OH drops a few linseeds trough the top bars. They are small enough to fall through a closed lid and keeps the hamster happy.

He interacts with him in the day.

I think I may have made people think my partner ignores Sprite. In the early hours our room is pitch black and you cannot see anything so my partner had no idea Sprite even knew he was aware he was up.

My partner loves Sprite. He makes him boredom breakers and he makes his seed mix.

I am sure nobody thinks your Partner ignores Sprite The circumstances of getting up early in the dark, aren't a time for interacting with a hamster! Maybe Sprite just thinks he's another big hamster, with it being dark, and checking him out!
