A little willow ball.Sprite's funny. What is it he's chucking into his sandbath?
Thank you. He can always wee underneath it if he wants to.Hamsters do tend to be active around that time, he probably thought your partner had got up to play with him!
He did well to climb on top of that hide! At least he didn’t have too far to fall, a cardboard hide should be safer if he gets adventurous again, not sure what he’ll think of his toilet going missing though!
Clever Sprite basketball star lovely to see him do thatI just saw Sprite play basketball! He rushed out from his MCH where he has been asleep all afternoon and did this!
We were both stunned. He must have planned it as he rushed out just to do this. He is still in his sand and appears to be asleep there.
Cute and sad all at the same time.Every morning when my partner gets up Sprite gets really excited and tries to climb the highest part of his cage to catch my partners attention. My partner cannot see Sprite as it is so dark and he has never once gone over to Sprite at this time despite Sprite trying to catch his attention every morning. I feel sorry for Sprite as he must feel he is being ignored. He looks so cute getting so excited.
It makes me feel sad too. I hope Sprite learns my partner cannot see him and stops.Cute and sad all at the same time.
Have you told your partner? It makes me feel sad too. I hope Sprite learns my partner cannot see him and stops.
Yes he knows. We live in a studio flat so the light is off as I am asleep. My partner wakes up around 4-5AM to work. He cannot see Sprite or he would go over to him.Have you told your partner?
He actually wants a treat.I think it sounds like Sprite wants out of the cage as soon as he knows a human is around! Maybe your partner could just say "Hello Sprite - there's a good boy" quietly. Whether he can see him or not? I don't think it's too sad though. I've had this a few times where I've gone down in the night and Raffy immediately looks like he wants to come out, but I am just to tired to even acknowledge him and he has to accept I am not "available" at that time. Likewise he has my attention before bedtimeAnd expects that.
Aw how can anyone ignore Sprite maybe just a little good morning from your partner but if he can't see him he probably doesn't think to speak to him.Every morning when my partner gets up Sprite gets really excited and tries to climb the highest part of his cage to catch my partners attention.
