He is just too adorable, there aren't enough words for it. I wonder if likes the feel of that, interesting idea having the tube open! Must feel as snug as being in a burrow there, the hamster equivalent of a memory foam mattress.

This morning Sprite has been gently tugging on my fingers and hand. He has not done this before. Does anybody know what this means? It was very gentle without any biting. I had clean hands and he had a peaflake as his morning treat.

I did not get that impression. I waited a bit and then gently removed my hand and he went into his hide.

That’s really sweet1 I’ve had it happen quite a few times usually when they’re in the cage & more often or not they seem to be trying to drag my hand into their house, it’s only ever happened with my Russians not Chinese so it’s one of their things they do, I think they just want to take you with them wherever they’re going!

Wow! I thought he seemed a bit grumpy. I love that it was a positive thing.
