That's exactly what he needed and he seems to be thriving on it.That’s good that he seems to be filling out a bit now, just needed some TLC.

Excellent! I am sure he will fill out more as wellHe is starting to feel better in my hand when i pick him up. Not so lightweight and bony, more like a proper hamster.
Yes it's cute when they do thatLook at his full cheek pouch! I love the way he is closing his eyes in sheer bliss.
So adorable! I have to try one of those with our new ham. We had one in Wally's cage but he appeared to ignore it.Otto up for a quick lunchtime pouch. I can hear him snacking in his nest now.
Albert may like the Rosewood shrimp cookies. Orko loves those. They contain sugar and fruit. No good for Albert![]()
Thank you. They look good. I'm going to get my son to order some. That's a shame. Most of the Vitakraft ones do unfortunately. I also used to get the Rosewood ones which were healthy and no sugar. Our Syrians would eat them if there were no other chew sticks available! I can't remember which ones the hamsters preferred. I think it was this one
Thank you. I'll have a look for themAlbert may like the Rosewood shrimp cookies. Orko loves those.
Thank youThere is this one too. I also tried the cornflower and daisy one but they didn't seem to like that.
Could be that they were replaced with the papaya and peanut cookies.I ordered the shrimp cookies a while ago and only saw them on ebay. Maybe they are being discontinued.
