Ha ha - the smell of the baby corn maybe was irresistable! What is the little heart dish he was sitting in? I was waiting for him to do ballet again at the water bowl but either he didn't or he did it with the other leg that wasn't visible. :) He is getting more adventurous isn't he?!

The heart shaped bowl has his ground flaxseed. He gets a pinch every night and he loves it so much. He did not do any more ballet. He really is becoming more adventurous. It is lovely. I notice he really likes digging in the coco fibre.

He's getting bigger and stronger!

He may not even be shy. Some hamsters simply prefer their own company.

Ozzy was like that. I don't think he was shy. He prefered his own company and never wanted to leave his cage. I tried but he just sat and sulked waiting to get put back in. He was perfectly happy in his own world. Never chewed or climbed the bars. I could have left his door open and he wouldn't have escaped. Maybe Orko is like that.

I have a feeling Orko is like Ozzy. He really seems so happy. He makes up little games and he looks so playful. He usually gets up so soon after I go to bed that I picture him peeping through his tunnel counting down the minutes.

I am so pleased I thought to put Orko's coco fibre in a box rather then the jar it was in. He really enjoys digging in it. I love watching his little back legs dig. :)

Yes he loves it. It is so cute. Interestingly, he does not dig much in his aspen box and uses it to hide his food there instead.

That is interesting - maybe he sees aspen as a good preservative for food. I know some of my hamsters have actually transported sand into their hoards from a different location! And I wondered if that was to preserve food. They are clever little things. Although why they would want sand in their food is beyond me!

That is interesting. He does not leave anything in the aspen for long apart from his whimzee. Haha, sandy food is not a nice thought!

I don't get this either. The Robos eat in their sand and Clive hides his goodies in his sand jar then dives in to eat them with his bum sticking out.

Maybe they rub the sand off before they eat the food? They are very clean and tidy.

Orko looks so cute eating his flax sprays! He tries to stand on his little legs to reach them. Yesterday I removed all the empty ones and brought the others lower down for him to reach and he has eaten (Or hoarded) so many! He seemed to have a great time doing it. Here are two different clips of him.

Orko has been his usual tidy self. In this clip he tidies the bedding in his tunnel entry, eats his pea flake, tidies his millet then eats flax.

Lovely to see Orko running in his wheel :) . He got very excited about picking up something and taking it to the ceramic hide! Seeing how Orko has grown makes me realise how small Pip is still! Pip has grown a bit and filled out but he's still very small for a robo.

That was a pea flake. :) I am so pleased you enjoyed the video. I remember you saying how tiny Pip was when he arrived and how he has grown. Perhaps he is just a little robo. :)

Very adorable to see Orko doing Orkothings
His backlegs are oddly very cute!
