Aww thank you. Say it as much as you like as Iove it when anybody finds Orko cute or intetesting. He really is always on the move. I have never seen him still for more then a few seconds!I know I’ve said it before but he’s so adorable. He‘s always on the move, nibbling at food, stopping for a sniff or exploring his enclosure. So content in his hamstering world![]()
Yes, that's what i meant. He must be using his multichamber house quite a bit then or he made it into a huge grain store.Do you mean the hole? That is the hole in the multichamber hide.
I was amazed by that jump! He looks so confident now when I watch him.Wow that was a fantastic jump! He is definitely getting braver and more confident isn't he?!
He has always used his MCH a lot. His actual hoard is not underneath there. It is opposite. I think he just likes to pop out there as he can access his food and water.Yes, that's what i meant. He must be using his multichamber house quite a bit then or he made it into a huge grain store.
That is interesting. Also, they must know winter is coming despite it still being warm. Very clever.I wonder of Robos do this later than Syrians. Pip has been very keen on pouching his food recently - pestering a bit when I put it out. But Raffy, like most Syrians I’ve had, started building draught excluding bedding about the end of August when the nights started drawing in.
I've subscribedOrko is an 8 month old robo whom I adopted from the adoption centre at a pet shop when he was 4 months old. His previous family had to surrender him as they were moving overseas. Orko is my first hamster so I am still learning. He is a very sweet and happy boy and so shy. I have 2 cameras in his cage to ensure I monitor all that he gets up to. Every morning I watch his night time antics so I have my very own nature documentary.
Last night I spotted him doing something new. He loves to climb his hides and here he is managing to get between two.

Thank you. I was worried about being judged and people upset with me for feeding something unsuitable. My partner did some research and said not to feed it but for me to stop worrying as it will not have caused any harm. He said its like a parent finding out their child had secretly been eating cake.Ha ha. Don't worry. I know nothing about Tofu - I am sure it's very similar whatever it is! I thought Tofu was bean curd? And soya is a bean. According to the BBC, Tofu is derived from soya by curdling fresh soya milk.
I found it buy searching for tofu on Amazon. It said 100% organic soya chunks on the packet and I assumed it was the same.Surely it said Tofu on the packet or you wouldn't think it was Tofu?!
