Orko is doing his best to avoid me. He carefully plans coming out when I leave the room. Last night I went to bed early and he came out early. I am respecting his wishes and not trying to interact with him. I know my place.

He comes out to eat his breakfast when I go for my shower. He pops out for water when I go to the bathroom. He rushes out for the evening one minute after I turn the light off...I don't think cute little Orko would avoid you on purpose

Some days I don't see Albert and it makes me sad. My husband says we all have days where we just don't want to communicate. I guess hamsters are the same.

Oh yes, hamsters do have days they feel like being alone but when Albert is in the mood you have such wonderful times together. Your bond really is touching.

For a Robo you say avoids you, you have a lot of lovely daylight photos and videos to show for.
Including videos where Orko sits and listens to you.
I thought the other day that you see a lot more of your Robo than anybody else here sees of theirs.

Oh that is so lovely. I think its the camera that helps because I get footage even if he pops out for a drink.

I had a lovely surprise this morning. When I put Orkos breakfast out and left to get fresh water, he was out.

I changed a few things in the end of Orko's cage that he appears to want to dig. He does not dig in his dig boxes and appears to prefer to dig in his bedding. He came out to explore. He looks okay just a bit cautious.

I am relieved you think he looks okay. At least he has plenty of free space to make a mess.
