ok thank you lolI've bought these before and they are safe but were ignored by my hamsters. I use them as little steps.
The sisal chew toys are safe - if you’re worried about long strings and what they’re made of (to hang it by?) jist snip them offI got this chew toy made for hamsters but there a long strings attached to it. I’m scared my hammy will ingest these, is it safe? the picture is a bit blurry but there strings.
yes it’s like aThe sisal chew toys are safe - if you’re worried about long strings and what they’re made of (to hang it by?) jist snip them off. My hamsters tend to ignore such things as well but they do brighten the place up! Plus I’ve found hamsters can still object if you remove it - they like things being there as always even if they don’t chew it.
As you have a female she may just destroy it lol!

Yes totallyI think even toys that are ignored, are all part of enrichment for the hamster so the cage doesn't look too bare and they have "obstacles" to negotiate, as in the wild![]()
