Henry has been a bit puzzled I wasn't there for his breakfast & play time last night. This morning he was having a midnight snack and looking for me a bunch. Can't wait to see his reaction once I'm home.

I got kisses immediately, he groomed my hand for a minute. He just has little food motivation anymore, affection and adventures are his jam.

He also demanded an adventure, I wasn't prepared but it seemed to suit him. He loved the pile of blankets, and used the ramp for the first time.

Yeah, so sweet of him! It's funny what he ends up liking. I should just get more blankets of different types, instead of hamster hides & toys it seems. He might take to a dig box, could make one for him

They do seem to like blankets A kind of tunnel and cosy thing to explore. I bet he'd love a dig box. Mine is just a cardboard amazon box with shreded cardboard in (the shredded cardboard idea was Frida's).

Aww, Henry looks so happy to see you! I bet that made your day. Such lovely videos and pictures of him. A dig box is a lovely idea. Sprites favourite substrate in a dig box is coco fibre.

I think I will try both of those dig boxes , I think he would like them. He enjoys the different surfaces I have in his enclosure.

Henry asked for just cuddles for the first time, got to pet him while we laid on the couch together. Wasn't 100% sure what he wanted until he parked on my belly for good. He did have a bit of a slide down my leg, might stack up blankets for next time.

He is such a sweetheart! I've seen other people talk about their hamsters wanting a cuddle, and never experienced it until now. I didn't know they specifically went for cuddles by themselves.
