Henry

Henry demanded a second adventure tonight and proved me wrong after a few days of being unable to climb the castle. He managed to get up on it, could be one of the last times. His dance on the little log is fine by me, he's so stubborn and determined

Socks too ❤️ Henry navigates with his whiskers very skilfully, clever hammy ❤️

Aww ❤️ Blossom would prove me wrong by doing things after I thought she couldn't do them anymore too.
Henry must have read this. He got up on his castle again today, and demanded an adventure like clockwork!

He is pretty smart, lately he's been more content with just one or two rooms on his adventures. Budgeting his zoomies, afraid his hips are again slightly worse today. He still has a full range of movement and can scratch with his hind legs. His waddle is more pronounced, as is his slouch when seated.

I gave him another spot of the ice cream I made for him. He's signaling for it by going for that stick he found and looking at me. The expression on his face is great to see

It’s lovely he’s being spoiled in his old age 😊

Henry has actually had a rather good week, he's been out of the enclosure for a lot of it. Absolutely demanding as much free-roaming time as possible, and doing a lot of happy faces with his treats. It's been hard to gauge when he's all done, often he's still wanted out. Other than his mobility issues from old age, he's doing well

Henry was up early and went right for the kitchen. He smelled some of the riced cauliflower I made for my lunch and demanded some. It's unfortunately become his current favorite, while I'm happy he's eating it's fairly calorie empty. I did get him to have some of his beloved sour cream. You can see his cataracts pretty clearly here, I help him out a lot by rustling where there's treats if he can't find them.

But he still has full energy and the desire to explore! I'm starting to think he might make it to 3 years, he seems do be doing extraordinarily well the past two weeks.

At least he enjoys it and it keeps him happy :-) He looks very keen and active there.
Definitely better than nothing at all, hoping to help him keep his weight up. He's super active and feeling good today, wouldn't take the metacam for once.
