We used to just do my bedroom the first year I had him, and he loved it. Sometimes he would want to stay for hours and I would have to convince him to hop in the taxi at my bed time.

Now he has full reign of my place. I have a one bedroom apartment and it's easy to keep hamster safe. The one area I do have to keep completely blocked off is the water heater closet, it has a hole he could get into.

Thanks a bunch Socks Mum! He was up at human lunchtime today zooming on his wheel, I came over with a mealworm and he wanted out. It seems like he wants to nap in his play area hide and have a together day like old times. I will make sure to watch where I'm walking and listen for him nudging the taxi
