It looks great :-). A tip - maybe move things away from the edges or he could climb on them and get out :-). They are good at that! In fact anything easy to climb on (eg the maze and glass jar) I would put nearer the middle. As they can also use then as a spring board and jump and hang on to the sides of the playpen and climb out!

Hurrah! Grommit is going to love it. :)

You could use some cardboard boxes and add different substrates for Grommit to dig in. My hamster really enjoys that. :)

Yes, I was looking at yours last night I'll get into it. Which substrate are in your boxes ?

You can also just have torn up cardboard in a dig box :) It was Frida put me onto that idea! They still dig in it (if there's food in there). Raffy sometimes just climbs in his and sits in it.

I'll try it, doubt he'll sniff food out. He's a bit lazy regards food in the play pen

Raffy is the same but if you hide a few pumpkin seeds in the cardboard and leave a couple on top, he does have a half hearted rummage :-). But yes Syrians can be lazy ha ha.

Blossom loves having a rifle around in her dig box for food. Hers only has shredded corrugated cardboard in it which came out of a parcel.

This looks great is it quick and simple to dismantle I'd love one the same but need to fold it away after use

Socks is a "hmm, whatever" fellow when it comes to hidden treats. Except for squash, peas and sunflower sprouts, but those are a bit soggy for hiding 😄

It was all too much change tonight he tried hard, but he was quite scared
