Late yesterday evening, Finley's wheel banged against his tank while he was running in it so i went to sort.
While i did that, Finley sat on his house and gave me a very reproachful look. He did not run away! Honestly, if looks could kill....
He clearly blamed me.

Lol! You would think he would be grateful! Raffy's wheel "walks" across the playpen while he's in it - as does his flying saucer. Eventually they meet along with meeting a table leg and the noise sounds like there are builders in the house!

It is amazing he did not run away. He must be getting used to you. Do you want to hear something spooky? Orko's wheel was so squeaky this morning and woke me at 6. My partner was up already and fixed it. I cannot believe how much Finley and Orko do the same thing!

He's still out, washing, nibbling millet and generally hamstering about.
That's the longest i've observed him so he can't be aware of me hiding behind the water jugs, unable to move.

Finley is giving me looks as well now!
I sieved the debris out of his sand and wiped his smelly wheel. Suddenly a nose appeared from the substrate followed by the rest of Finley. He shot out and jumped on his wheel, sat in his sand shell, gave me that look and disappeared.
I think his thoughts are unprintable.

I saw some yellow bedding in Finley's obs hide so decided that it needed a freshen up and Finley was due a health check anyway.
Of course i had to deal with one very irate and vocal Robo. While checking him over i trimmed a couple of long nails. I noticed last time that his fur on his upper chest is thinning but i've seen this in other dwarfs as they got older. Finley must be around 20 months now.
Aside from that he looks fine and i got a good view of his teeth as well.
