That’s totally understandable, I always tend to get a bit paranoid even with younger healthy hams after losing one.

That is understandable. Finely sounds very well and still enjoying racing with Bernard. :)

My OH told me this morning that he saw the little ones running around last night.

And here's an early appearance from Finley!

It is - it's nice when they suddenly appear isn't it? I've only seen Pip once this month I think!

I just cleaned Finley's little tank. I didn't take him out this time but saw him for long enough to get a nasty look from him, lol.
I tried to be as quick as i could, Finley!

A photo to remind myself that it once looked tidy.

I love how you have set up Finley's tank. I see Finely is his usual self.

Aww Finley, I can just imagine the look!
It does look like a lovely set up for him.

Just saw Finley hamstering about. Looks like he has a sticky eye. It's not shut but not wide open like the other. I need to dig him out in daylight to have a good look. It's common in older hamsters so not too worried. Going by what i was told he's 22 months now. When i saw him on Monday i thought he's starting to look a bit rugged.

I saw Finley again and his eye looked fine. He must be getting old. Bernard's running around and tunnelling so both Robos seem to be their usual selves.

Aw Finley is just hamstering along. Sorry he had a sticky eye temporarily.

Finley must be in his late 60's early 70's now. I think the sticky eye was down to age but resolved itself. He wasn't pleased to see me. Even Bernard was prancing around for a while trying to decide whether to come onto my hand or not. He did in the end because he wanted the seeds but didn't hang around.
I'm not popular with the Robos tonight.

Pleased Finley’s eye has rectified itself. Good to hear the little robos are both merrily hamstering around.

Glad to hear Finleys eye was just a temporary thing, bless him is he being a grumpy old man now.

I've noticed that Finley drinks a bit more which is common in older hamsters. He prefers bowl to bottle (has both) so gave him a bigger water bowl. Thanks to a tip off by Albert i bought 50p Asda tea lights. I put a too big to pouch glass marble in to keep his snout out but don't think he'd fall in.
