Zooplus.co.uk has very limited options for hamster cages these days - mainly just the Barney cage and Marrakesh tank. However Zooplus Germany sells some very good enclosures with deep perspex bases and barred tops. Sadly these don't ship to the Uk! But they can be shipped to all other European countries. So if anyone is in Spain, Germany, or other European countries, you might be interested in some of these enclosures. Prior to Brexit, some of these were available to be shipped to the Uk from Amazon.de and some other stockists, but at least we still have other choices! And the Plaza 120 Aura Plexi is still available in the Uk. The Sky Rat (hamster bar spacing) used to be available on Uk pet websites. And the Hoppelgarden from Amazon.de in the past.
It's a shame really - if they ship the Skyline Barney and Marrakesh to the Uk, why not also ship the other Skyline enclosures? I have cage envy
However if you're in Ireland that is Europe and they can be shipped to Ireland I believe!
Skyline Lima 100 - 100cm x 60cm x 80cm tall - 7mm bar spacing
This seems to be fairly new and looks like the perfect combination of barred top with large front opening door and very deep base for bedding. I would happily buy one of these myself personally! Although it is very expensive at the equivalent of about £283 (329.99 euros). However the Bucatstate's are also expensive. The advantage of enclosures like this - the excellent ventilation both top, back and front. The whole top lifts up on a hinge (like the Marrakesh) as well as the large front opening door. As you can see from the second photo, there also seems to be another version from a different German website, that has a full level higher up so there would be no fall risks from a height and it would make another floor/level. And its suitable for all species including robos, with 7mm bar spacing.

Skyline Hoppelgarden 100 - 100cm x 71cm x 60cm tall - 7mm bar spacing
This also has narrow 7mm bar spacing and a deep perspex base for bedding. It has huge floorspace at 100cm x 71cm deep x 60cm tall. It does only have small doors on the side but has a large door on top as well. I suppose the wood frame might be an issue for some though. Also expensive at the equivalent of approx £232 (269.99 euros) but on a par with the cost of a Bucatstate.

Skyline Sky Rat 100 - 100cm x 56cm x 86cm tall - 7mm bar spacing
This cage has been around for a long time and used to be sold by a Uk pet store (imported presumably). It also has narrow 7mm bar spacing and is effectively a two tier Barney cage. The top part is virtually the same as the Barney cage - two small doors on the front and a large door on top. But the bottom tier has a large front opening door. It would be easy enough to adapt the bottom tier for deep bedding, even though it would make the front opening door shallower. Only costs about £112 (129.99 euros).
