It seems PAH are no longer selling these online now. If anyone is looking to buy one, Scallywags pet store sells them - one of the only pet shops that does sell them.

They have a Facebook page called Scallywags Pet Shop and Grooming Parlour

Gosh, I wonder why cos the 120 cage is such a staple. Perhaps there is more demand for Bucatstate style cages now.

Who knows, but they have gone back to selling mostly small cages. Perhaps the 120 cages weren't selling well enough any more (and yes maybe the Bucatstate's have been outselling them).

Oh this is soooo annoying, just when.i thought they were headed in the right direction. I am.so glad i have two.of the aura cages ,one in the attic and one in use.

That's good, thank you! I'm aware the only two stockists for the Aura 120 plexi were PAH and Scallywags and it took some time to actually find one anywhere for some time. Unless that has changed. Good you can buy it from Germany.

It's particularly annoying that they are focusing on selling so many small cages again ................

At least the Criceti 120 is still available (from Ferplast). I do think the Bucatstate's have become massively popular and probably selling more than other things. But although it's a lovely enclosure, I don't think it would work for me personally.

Yes ,the only way that I knew of before P@H stocked it was direct from Germany. I was lucky when.P@H stocked.it as I had vouchers and I only paid 80.quid.for the one. Which arrived broken , Savic themselves sent me.spare parts and P@H replaced it and had it delivered to store. So I ended up with one complete cage due to the spare parts being sent and another due to P@H replacing. Such a shame they have taken.such a step.back,it's only recent though ,so annoying.

Yes ,not good at all,I didn't understand the hatred of barred cages. They allow for ventilation ,and if they are the correct size ,hamsters don't climb.Robin has always been happy in hers, and she is def a typical sassy female hamster . The bucatstates are smart ,I currently have one still in its box . But I still prefer the ventilation and interaction involved in a barred cage.

Ditto! I think it's a small minority who are strongly anti cages and they've probably never used a large one (or they just prefer tanks and are dismiss anything else). There are some ridiculous claims which are very ignorant. However they are still very popular and not everyone can afford £230 ish for a hamster enclosure. It is a fiddle with attaching things for deeper bedding, unlike a tank automatically holding deeper bedding and holding platforms in the corners easier - but it's a trade off of access, ventilation and various other things. I still have my Plaza 120 upstairs.

PAH have put the Plaza 100 up to £100 as well. I think the release of the 120cm Bucatstate 3 a year or so ago has made a big change. Before that, the Savic cages were the only 120cm ones.

Exactly ,I find the groups on Facebook push tanks over anything, not thinking of ventilation, condensation etc and the hammy actually breathing lol And yes,I noticed that the plaza has gone back up,it's all a ploy to get people to buy their **** cages.

I also think ventilation is very important! Although people who use tanks seem to find the Bucatstate's are fine. Some of the tank style ones worry me - mdf and not enough ventilation slots.

It's the bucatstate 3 that I bought. I got it for 70 pounds with discount codes on Temu . It arrived looking like it had been.drop kicked across a football field, and I have yet to dare open the box .I will use it if needed at some point, and I hope to God it isn't broken, but I just prefer the aura

I love barred cages and although the tank ones do look really lovely I prefer the hamster to be able to smell fresh air and to interact through the bars with me.

I remember when Flower and Fairy fell out (roborovski sisters) and I moved Flower out of the maxi duna multy into a barred cage. She spent ages sniffing the air, it was so sweet.

Wow £70!

Viking laser are now selling replacement perspex for the Aura as well, in case a piece gets damaged

Oh that's good that viking are doing spare parts . And yes,70 quid,I couldn't not have it for that.
