Teddy had a good night last night, he hasn't nibbled his wooden carrot yet but it doesn't surprise me as he likes to get used to something before he tucks in!

Hi there, Teddy had a fabulous night! Must have been up around 4 to near 5 hours. He's looking good and energetic He's been moving his wooden carrot around, it looks like he's nibbled it .. I don't want to move it and upset him. I want him to feel that it's all his and I'm not going to mess with it every two minutes! Last night on his treat dish he had his German biscuit and a piece of cauliflower which I know he loves so yeah he's good Ness

Well... It only took three nights for teddy to nibble his wooden carrot but nibble it he has. Yippee I was so chuffed! It's mad isn't it how we get over small things. He had a full adventurous night as always, he always has long sessions on his wheel, he keeps his wheel very clean, he hasn't scented it at all. He's a very clean hammy I don't really find anything bad anywhere. Thank you teddy! Ness

Well done Teddy You did well there as mine ignored their wooden carrots Tino has a sisal carrot and he picked it up in his teeth and tossed it out of the way in disgust.

Teddy had a great night last night, he was up a good 4to5 hours.it looks like he's nibbled a little bit more of his carrot . I wish he'd go just a bit further into it, then he'd find the different centre oh it's such a shame he might like it more if he found the different centre, I don't know! His veg last night was carrot and a Nibblot tonight it's 2 peas and his Nibblot and abit of dandelion root. Hopefully he'll have fun Ness

I don't think I'd buy them again? They come on a bag of three.which is good and they are cheap to buy... But they are huge,much bigger than I thought they would be. I'll take a photo at some point Ness

They were only £2 something on Amazon,and with teddy not being a chewer I thought I'd see how they go. He has chewed the one in his enclosure but I just think they are huge, probably because they are also for rabbits and guinea pigs! I'll leave it in for now and see how it goes! Ness

I love everything with dandelion as it one of most positive natural medicine for liver and kidneys

Morning everyone, Teddy had a really good night on Sunday night.i decided to try him with his dandelion root. On his dish he had cauliflower and his Nibblot but I thought let's see if he'll actually go for something new, as it took two days to decide to nibble his wooden carrot. Well drum roll please ... He totally loved it,he came to his dish it's always his first port of call,he ate his cauliflower with that look of exticy on his face then his eyes seem to go even wider with the site of the dandelion root. He ate half of it so now I feel better about his teeth ( that root is really hard) he then did his usual thing... Wheel, cleaning station, wheel, foraging! The other half of dandelion root went to bed with him after he filled his pouches with food. I was very proud of him for having a go with something new Ness

Those dandelion balls are accepted but he turned his nose at the corn flower hearts

Oh no, those cornflower hearts looked really good maybe try again in a while he might change his mind! Ness
