Today Update :
I got a little closer with Tako, he is already adapt to my hand and sometime he ask for a hand riding. Today, he asked me to give him a ride to his food bowl and ate his food right in my hand. He abandoned his lovely wheel and become obsessed with the multichamber right now, he spend a lot time in there during night and also he closed all the door with substrate. I bought a UV flashlight to help me found his pee spot in the multichamber because he make a big burrow there.

He is doing so well and has bonded with you really quickly, brilliant!
Thanks Maz and Socks Mom. He really love hand riding so much. he told me the hand really felt like a magic carpet. 
Today update :
After a i look into his behavior and personality. I decided to slightly upgrade his enclosure, change a bit and add some items and also sprays. I dont throw away the old substrate, instead i mixed it with the new one to give him more bedding. For the hoarding i replace it with the new one and the same exact place where the hoarding left before. Hopefully he liked it and i wouldn't bother him for several days, so he can setlle his new enclosure and he is playing on his wheel right now.
Any suggestion is welcome and would be grateful

Tako doing great in his new enclosure and really enjoy to explore new things around. When i checked the cage this morning, i noticed the flaxseed i gave him is gone so fast. He is chewing less right now and love to burrow to make his own tunnel for sleeping, this make me consider to add more bedding in the next 3 - 4 months. Also, I saw him out earlier than before and become more active, this make me happy.

Hi, its been awhile im not active. Having a lot workload and cant make a diaries.
Overall Tako does well everyday, i put a lot dried birch leaves in his enclosure and also flowers to make his enclosure feel homey. Even tho still not possible to hold him until now, the progress of bonding still work slowly. He abandoned a lot hide out and choose to live in his burrow to sleep. Well his playpen already comes up and i still setting it up for him to play there later when he wake up. He is such a shy baby and doesnt like to get exposed by light. Whenever lightroom goes up he will hide under his multichamber.
OOT, My GF have hamster also and we named her 2nd Ponyo.

Ponyo 2nd have a unique trait, whenever we call her "baby" she will talk back to us with chirps sound. This is only happen if we call her "baby". I want to upload the videos, however i still dont know how to upload it in here

To upload videos you just upload them to youtube and paste the link on here and it "embeds" the video in your message so it can be seen/watched directly from the forum page. If you don't want the videos to be publicly viewable, you tick to set them to "unlisted" - then the only appear wherever you paste the link (eg on here). Don't set them to private though or they won't show up anywhere, even on here
Some hamsters can be quite vocal! It's lovely she chirrups when you call her baby Ponyo 1st seems to just be behaving like a regular hamster, and he will gain confidence over time. I love his ears

Today, Tako enjoy his new playpen. He chews every corner as always to find the exit, i will touch him with my finger to let him know to not chew it. So for the setup i put a hay tunnel which is he loved to be inside it, to hide from the light and will add several items later to make him occupied.

Hello! Long time no update here.
have been busy with my works lately.
Tako really doing great until now. He even ran from his playpen and glad i found and catch him. Bonding with Tako really take a slow progress, seems like Tako is a shy type which is do not love to held for such a long period. He even jumped really far when i tried to held him or make a sudden noise when i moved him from his cage into playpen. However, such a beautiful progress he become more bulky right now and in good health condition. He enjoyed a lot variety of food such as hamster cookies, banana, hamster porridge, carrot and also cucumber. Looking foward to his growth in the future.
