Sydney the Syrian

That sounds loud and clear then! Don't mess with my sand bath! What is it with Syrians and water bottles? Most of mine have done that at some point. My current Syrian does it to get attention though.

Sydney looks adorable 😊, how wonderful you have rescued him and he’s now a lucky boy to be in a loving forever home. Sounds like he is settling in nicely. I love his colouring.

Thank you. Yes, I'm not entirely convinced he actually is two and a half.
Have you noticed any wrinkles? :ROFLMAO: The main thing is he stays active and healthy. I've usually found the first sign of ageing to be lack of back leg strength - eg trying to climb into something.

Yeah he wasn't very strong at first to climb up on things but he's got a bit better.

Sydney is doing well. Still scared and on edge a lot. He sat with 2 paws on my hand last night while I was talking to him. He seems to really enjoy when I talk to him. I tell him how my day was and also that he doesn't need to be scared that he's safe now and I won't hurt him. Of course he gets lots of treats while I talk to him. I think he deserves all the treats. He's such a good boy.

Sydney must really appreciate all the kindness & care you give him.

The trust Sydney shows you is so touching especially after his background.
