Agree with the others, it isn’t always easy to know what they want but the odd misinterpretation doesn’t do any harm.
He’ll be fine & the little roll in the wheel is nothing to worry about.

Looks like you're still doing a great job with Sprite, he's such a little cutie! Glad to hear you can handle him well, and he looks so content and happy. I think you did a good job recognizing he was done with the playpen, it can be tricky at times and you picked up on it. How exciting is it getting to handle him?
Aw, thank you. It is amazing he is happy to be handled. Every time I hold him feels so precious. :) This morning he happily too a pine nut from me so he is okay. :)

That’s a lovely photo of him holding his mealworm, he looks very happy with that 😋

He has a very pretty coat, and such good table manners!

Sprite loves his sand bath. You can see him digging here. It is clearer on a bigger screen.

He’s really enjoying that & his little tail is so cute!

That looks like a lot of fun and the rear view is super cute!

Sprite was happy today because I sprinkled forage in his cage.

Just catching up with Sprite :) He's looking as adorable as ever!

Sprite is funny. He sat on my lap eating a piece of walnut then left it and decided he wanted something else. I did not offer him anything else and popped him back in his cage. I put the walnut out for him and later on he seemed excited to find it.

He is lovely to watch :-) I think walnuts are very popular with hamsters! Raffy gets very excited for them too!

Sprite does look pleased with his walnut, lovely to watch him enjoying that.
