Good to hear she’s showing signs of improvement now & I’m sure she’ll enjoy having more in the cage again now too.

The set up looks great. I'm glad to hear she is improving a bit. It's probably best not to change anything for a while now while she gets used to it. Will you be going back to the vets or calling them? Sometimes they suggest carrying on with the antibiotics a bit longer if there is sign of improvement but still some symptoms. I think I would want to ask them about that before the antibiotics finish. But you know all this stuff anyway, having other pets :)

The vet said to see how she does after the course of medication has finished. The vet didn't see any signs of an ear infection so it was just a 'try it and hope' kinda thing. The ear drops have steroids in them so if she had a stroke or something it might have even been the steroids that have helped her start to do better. At the first sign of any decline in mobility I'll of course be taking her straight back.

Agreed on not changing anything for a while. I have another tunnel I want to put back in but gonna wait at least a week before doing that. She's had way too much disruption already.

I've put a whimzee in her box of beech chips so she'll be happy to discover that tonight :D

Oh that'll keep her happy! :) Nothing like distraction and food to help them forget feeling stressed!

A little clip from yesterday evening of how she's getting about now. Still getting used to the new layout but obviously much better able to navigate around things and keep her balance

That’s good, she does seem to be getting around much better now, hope she soon adjusts to the new layout & continues to improve.

Snowy is so adorable! I love the new layout. You have lots of lovely bedding for her to be cosy in too.

She's definitely moving about better and seems fine in herself. Maybe a bit of circling but not too much. Fingers crossed.

She came out mid-afternoon for a snack. Could smell her nugget on top of her hide but had a bit of confusion about how to get to it!

She found it eventually. It's almost like she has a sort of Parkinsons symptoms - quite jerky and losing her balance but seems to be doing normal things otherwise.

Yeah, it does seem to me like she has some kind of neurological damage...

It might not be permanent lets hope.

That's the impression i got as well. Like part of her brain isn't working properly. Maybe Snowy had a stroke. At least she found her pellet.

Put another tunnel in this morning. Figured since I didn't have to move anything else it was a small enough change that it wouldn't stress her.

Her habitat looks lovely. Easy to negotiate but enriching at the same time.
