That is seriously impressive. I am in awe :-) And there was me thinking I'd achieved something getting on top of the washing (not literally!).

I've moved Lawrence in the HH and upstairs in the hamster room. I'll explain why later. Got a huge mess i made to clear up before the hamsters wake up.

I'm getting there. The foster Alaska is now on a dolly trolley in the lounge and i have my coffee table back. The Alaska has a short term assessment/observation set up which i could easily improve with more substrate etc if needed.

I’m wondering what might be happening tomorrow now…

Is the coconut hide half submerged into the substrate? I brought Albert one a while back but he doesn't use it. It sits on top of the substrate. I've hidden treats inside it but he just collects the treats and then leaves the hide.

Lawrences HH looks great - he'll enjoy that. I think with it being wider and the big front door, you'll have more interaction from him as well perhaps. It looks cosy too. I like how you have mats on the side at back.

Alaska as an assessment cage sounds good. It must be nice to have the coffee table back! Although I find coffee tables just get piled up with stuff anyway!

Orko used to do that too!

I was baking at work today (me baking, how absurd) and nearly forgot about the cupcakes in the oven trying to figure out how best to move Lawrence.

It turned out to be easy. I took the top off the cage and scooped him out in my hands then put him in a carrier with food hidden in it.

I transfered all his substrate, set it up and added Robo who dived into the bedding not to be seen again. I finished off through the top door which came in very handy because i didn't have to worry about a tiny Robo jumping out.

Lawrence carried on with his usual business of wheeling in the evening and didn't seem bothered by the move at all.

The coconut hide is in front of the shelf on the left It sits on the substrate. Rodney used his coconut as a store for his goodies.

I don't know yet what's happening tomorrow. A rescue may happen or it may not. I wished i had more positive and definite news. Things aren't always straightforward.

Those ears are adorable!
Lovely to see him running there too, he looks happy & totally unfazed by all the goings on.
