He is so cute and tiny 🥰. The fact that he was so cool about his cage changes is reassuring for when I change Davy’s house over.

I would love a Robo but they are too fast for me. I can only just catch Davy when he gets a shift on. He is a Ham on a mission when he does his Hammy Laps 😳x

What a rollercoaster day.
The planned rescue didn't happen which made me very sad because the poor hamster was in a habitrail. Hopefully she ended up with somebody sensible.

I knew of an unwanted Syrian in a small cage and i knew of someone with a pawhut looking to rescue one. The little boy's life is going to change on Wednesday and i know that he will be loved and well cared for. That eased my sadness a bit.

Then i looked at the small ads and saw two adult Syrians living together in a small cage. A male and a female. Quite a distance away and going free. They've been living in the same cage for 1-2 weeks so the female could be pregnant. No intention of breeding. I know the circumstances but won't go into that. Found a place in a rescue for the female and will foster the male myself but for the rescue. Collection is planned for tomorrow and i hope that all goes according to plan this time.

It does sound like quite a day & it’s hard when you can’t help a ham in need but I hope things go to plan tomorrow & the pair of hams will be facing a better future.

That’s so sad Beryl. Hope today goes OK with the little boy ham. Looking forward to seeing pictures of him 💕x

Hope today's rescue was successful it must be hard to know of hamsters in bad situations and not be able to do anything about it hopefully the number you do give better lives outweigh the sad cases where you can't

The two Syrians have been rescued. They lived in a Pico which is my car heading for the tip.

The girl is young and on pregnancy watch in the rescue. She's a beautiful longhaired hamster with a lovely face.

The boy i called Cedric and rehomed to myself. I didn't want to admit it but i knew that i wanted to keep him as soon as i saw him in the ad. I also knew that i couldn't get him and leave the other behind.

Oh how lovely well done Beryl. Can’t see the pics will try again later. Cedric sounds gorgeous 💓xx

He’s having a great time exploring everything! Really looking forward to seeing more of him & seeing his personality develop, I think it’s going to be a big one!

Oh yeah can see him now. Looks like one lively Ham 🥰 How lucky he is to have found you xx

To look at he's a similar type of hamster to Rodney which is probably part of the reason i felt drawn to him. I'm also looking forward to get to know his personality.

Well done Beryl for rescuing both of the hamsters.
Cedric looks adorable and I can see why you wanted to keep him.
I'm looking forward to seeing more of him and hearing all about his antics 💕

Last night tiny Lawrence wanted a drink and climbed up the bars and from there on top of his wheel!!

The big shelf with the water bowl is next to his wheel and has easy access via a bendy bridge, a cork log and a spiral staircase.

So, Lawrence climbed down and jumped the last bit onto the substrate.
Then he climbed on top of the coconut and pulled himself up onto the ledge of the shelf while hanging over it to reach the water bowl for a drink with his bum and back leg left dangling down the side of the shelf!

An easy way must be so boring and unappealing to a hamster.

Sounds like Lawrence gave himself an obstacle course! How cute and funny. He is really coming out of his shell isnt he. Sweet boy.
