I'm getting there, the lid at the two sides was the hardest part to click together but I've finally done that, put some bedding in (I have more but I want to put some of his in first and his grass mats) I've moved some of his stuff over as he was out and awake but he's typically gone back to sleep just as I was going to get him and his grassy mats and bedding I hope he likes it - it does look bigger xx

I think he will love it!

I have noticed I'm going to have to up the amount on subscribe and save! I have to say it's the first time I've got fitch in a while and I'm not a fan luckily I also had kaytee clean and cosy!

I'm trying the green shelf this time, I haven't used a plaza shelf since maple so will see how he gets on with it - I may swap it out but I'm definitely liking the increased floor space

Oh what a shame. Fitch isnt as soft as Kaytee bit I like it as its not dusty.

Yup Fitch can be a bit scratchy and rough but I prefer it as it's dust free. Once you've got all the bedding in you shouldn't need to keep buying a lot more as you'd be spot cleaning or partial cleaning mainly I think the green shelf would work well as it won't take as much space up in the cage as it does in the standard Plaza.

He does seem a bit confused! I hope he will love it once he gets used to it though! Still have more stuff to add but this is what we have so far

I am planning on moving his wooden wheel over, I just put the plastic one in for now since I'm no good with cable ties proud I actually managed to build it though!

Well done I ended up building the bars on the floor and then lifting the whole barred top onto the base with the base already on the cupboard

That sounds like it would have been much easier

My first attempt was to build the bars on top of the base and then add the roof - which failed! The sides wobble about too much.

It looks great, is it stable enough for two people to move when filled if need to move rooms for DIY etc?

Yes once put together and set up it can be lifted by two people - one at each end obviously and perfectly stable to carry. This actually happened here not so long ago so has been tested!

When it’s not set up the cage top isn’t heavy to lift at all - if slightly awkward for one person - but not impossible.

Goodness they must have sold a lot then as I understand supplies weren’t going to be an issue now (reliable source).

Hopefully it’ll be back in stock soon. Maybe their despatch team can’t handle the demand!
