Oh yes ,she is so adorable and 253 grams. We have been trying all ways to clip the one very long nail that she has on her back paw. Even tried wrapping her In a flannel burrito, but no,moves too much So this morning she was doing a lot of run to Mama and hiding on my neck.Of.course she got pumpkin seeds for the trouble and extra cuddles. But now I am going to try the bird feeder method.Hello Robin - she is big isn't she? Looking very alert and adorableIt's great when they climb on you

Thanks.for.that ,I have tried occupying her with food, but she is so obsessed with what I am doing,or Caz for that matter, she will literally stop eating to see what we are doing. She is very bonded ,especially to me. For example, something spooked her whilst on the sofa the other day,and she ran straight to the side of my leg. If I get up,she comes to the edge to watch me. She is so nosey ,she has to know everything lol I saw a video about popping her in to a bird feeder,so that her claws would hang through . I thought it was worth a goAw it's lovely she runs to you. Have you tried the thing I tend to do? When she's out, put an egg cup of something tasty out to eat - eg baby food or I use the Ella's kitchen strawberry porridgeThen they sit still to nom at it. I have the egg cup on the sofa and sit next to it. So once they're distracted and nomming I can usually surreptitiously snip about two nails before they realise, with a small pair of nail scissors - just slide my hand over. You need good eyesight (which I don't have) so I wear an extra pair of reading glasses on top of my glasses
So it magnifies. I usually manage to get two nails done per session so it takes a few days or even a couple of weeks! If it's just the one nail you'd want the egg cup the way round so that that paw is on your side! If that makes sense.
An egg cup is a bit taller than a dish or saucer so they're sitting up a bit and focused on the egg cup!
Thanks Maz,and yes,she was all"help me mamma",she sat tucked into my neck for ages.Aw she's gorgeous - and she came for cuddles afterwards. Well done getting the nails clipped!
Thankyou it's taken weeks of trying different things lolShe had an especially long nail on her back foot,so I wasn't going to give in lol I don't get it,most Syrians will even chew their own nails, but no. I had to take that photo ,that grumpy face was priceless.Congratulations on clipping the nails, that can be very difficult to doThat face does look a little displeased, Syrians have some expressive ones
