yeah... I love it how much he does stuff......Like Raffy..... nosey....... thanks for posting the vids on here ...a picture paints a 1000 words as they say
I can't help but think of the time Raffy went for the bag of crisps, I would like to imagine he's thinking of finding another treat when he gets off the wheel.
Raffy last night using his wheel and saucer under the coffee table. He then tends to run off and do a bit of a circuit round the room, back to the wheel then off behind the TV cabinet.
Since Tino arrived, Raffy doesn't show any signs of awareness that there is another hamster here. He's seen me go to talk to the cage the odd time I think but of course it was like looking at an empty cage. He behaves just the same as usual as if he is the only hamster.
Until last night! Because Tino was banging at the bars, I let him out first. And because I was talking to him while he came to the tube. Raffy looked really quite bothered and was up on his shelf roof and made a bit of a noise himelf running through a cardboard tube and rattling it. Technically I could let Raffy free roam in the living room at the same time as Tino is in the bath - it's hamsterproof and he has his routine. But I don't really like leaving him in the living room alone. One night I had them both out at the same time and kept popping back and forth between the bathroom (downstairs) and the living room but then I couldn't give either of them enough attention.
So Raffy had to wait till Tino was back in his cage. He looked hurt! I had to say extra nice things to him and reassure him he was special, and flatter him a lot. He seemed happier then
