Raffy (Syrian Hamster)

Raffy, you’re so adorable, can imagine he was just thinking wow! I particularly like the photo where his head is tucked right into the centre where the stem normally is.😀
 
Thanks Zara and Elusive. Yes it was fun for him I think. He did a lot of sniffing of it at first, then going away and coming back again, and finally bit it and realised it was edible - then he was like a kid in a sweetie shop. He'd be doing his night time things and then running back for another nibble. Unfortunately he did the best bits when I didn't have my phone ready as it would have made a good video!
 
Such beautiful pictures of Raffy and his apple. I love the colouring as they looked like art pictures in a gallery. :)

Poor Raffy. He is out for his free roam but is quite bothered and sniffing everything. His entire territory was invaded. I had a Hoover up after putting the living room back to normal to try and avoid that but it clearly doesn’t remove scent. He spent ages sniffing under the coffee table and round the front of the tv and has now gone off to a different part of the room.

Aw poor Raffy must have wondered what wa going on! I think it takes quite a while for hamster scent to go & vacuuming wouldn’t get rid of it.
Good to see him happy on his saucer, I’m sure he’ll soon get over the invasion & just be curious.

He always has that look :-) So bright and inquisitive. He had just heard the click of my phone camera so looks alert.
 
What a great spot for the saucer! Always great to see more of Raffy, he's doing so well for an old man
