An update on Raffy’s ice cream cone. The top ball part had disappeared by the next day! It’s not exactly small so I don’t think he can have eaten it all or even carried it far, so I think he must have rolled it into his house. I’ll check next time I look for his pee spot.
At the moment I’m not quite sure where he is peeing. As the ceramic toilet didn’t fit in the compartment next to the nest, I put it in the further away compartment. Not only did he not use it (maybe too far away from his nesting area), but it had subsided as he’d been digging in that compartment. So no idea where he is peeing. I will put the plastic one in the compartment next to the nest and see if he uses that - familiar layout for him.
He is still very active when free roaming and getting into all sorts and racketing about. Tonight he had climbed on the hearth. Which is forbidden! The first time he ever did that I said No! so strongly that he never did it again. Until tonight. I ushered him off. He climbed back again. So I said no! You know you’re not allowed on there! That got through and he scampered off it again quickly. There is no fire lit but the hearth is a bit of a dusty place and the poker isn’t exactly clean for him to rub against!
