Here's Pip last night. He came out for some food and a wash in his sand bath two or three times. He's not out as much as he used to be so I suspect that is partly he is keeping cosy and warm in his nest. Also he's maybe still adapting to the clothes drier being moved and being able to see/hear Raffy again.
It's not a great view of his cage or close enough, so you might be better watching full screen or on youtube (click the square or youtube link bottom right of the video) as he is also tiny!
He starts in the front right corner having a nibble of his veg, goes through a tunnel to the back shelf, hops into his egg box hammock and then onto the large hammock at the top. Thinks twice about jumping off the large hammock onto his main shelf, but does. Goes to his sand bath back left, hops in his food bowl front left, then down the ladder. Repeated this a few times in the night!
The top hammock was never intended for use - it was supposed to be up near the top, partly to provide overhead cover and partly just in case he managed to climb onto the roof and fell. However I'm aware he uses it! He uses the egg box hammock as a step up to it. He can't fall from it as it's wedged through the bars front and back and one end is over his main shelf (not very high). The other end is over his egg box hammock but he doesn't attempt to get out of it that way (only into it). Sensibly! The egg box hammock moves and the main shelf doesn't.
Afraid it's not that easy to see but you can see his eyes glowing with the infra red!
