He actually did sneak out to eat it. You know him well. 😂

He’s very busy! Looks as though he’s having fun exploring everything, maybe having a quick look for an escape route too!
 
He's having a nice little wash in his wheel there. It's always lovely watching Orko!

That is a ball pit from Amazon. I would not recommend it as it is only 80-90cm. It is too small really. I am only using it as a temporary one. :)
 
When we first adopted Orko we gave him dried chicken which he loved. I have not given him any for a while as he eats different protein now but I ordered him some and it arrived today. He looked excited to get it and he ran with it to the other side of his cage and ate it. It was adorable.

Aw he is running round in circles with excitement ha ha. So cute seeing him heading towards us with that piece of dried chicken! Raffy did something similar with one of the peanut and papaya cookies the other night (it's on that cage video) - although he didn't run fast like Orko!

I wondered what Raffy ran off with! He looked very pleased with his cookie. 😍
 
Orko looks so excited with his chicken, lovely to watch him running off with his treasure!
 
So glad to see Orko having a ball and enjoying out of enclosure time. I know how that feels, the one time a ham escaped from under the crack of my bedroom door was unexpected. They can really squeeze through the smallest spaces. He looks so calm and content though, you've done such a great job with him. How old is he now?

Thank you so much ilguy. Orko is 15 months now. Next month he will have been here for a year. :)
 
A video of Orko at breakfast this morning. I notice Elusive said her hamsters loved red pepper. Orko is the opposite and prefers green!

Funny to watch Orko walking around with his nose up in the air. He's so cute.
 
He is definitely cute. They all have their own tastes. Our first Syrian was very picky. If I tried to give him a nice treat like a blueberry or a bit of fresh strawberry the reaction would be shock horror - and he'd turn his nose up at it. I used to say he was a meat and two veg hamster lol.
 
Orko went in his playpen today. He is slowly learning to use his taxi. He really is so sweet.
