It’s due to arrive on the 23rd but maybe earlierGlad you are feeling better. That is a pity about the cellar, but much nicer Nibbles is upstairs with you. Hope the ac arrives soon

That’s true. My mums friend has problems with her bronchi and since she has had the ac her quality of life has improved so much, she suffers the most when it’s extremely humid. That’s what really gets me down too. So fingers crossedStill a bit of time to test it before summer is over. It sounds like a good model though

It's the humidity that sets me off as well. What I'm not sure of is if it's the humidity itself or the fact that humidity increases various things and mould spores in the air etc. It is certainly worse for pollen when humid. But hopefully it will help if we have weather like that again. It is something I would use all year round as well as central heating bothers me too. The 0.003 microns is apparently small enough that even the smallest virus is filtered out! So might help if someone is sick as well.
Nibbles is extremely happy in his playpen it’s 23 degrees so he’s feeling full of himself. I put a new hemp mat down, as I didn’t want to put the one that had been in the cellar back. The new hemp mat is much thinner but also a lot softer he seems to really like it 
he had a good roam around and ate some food (of course also fresh) and now he’s on his wheel. He has no issues thank god. His breathing is very good, he looks fine and shiny.
I am so happy he’s okay and will put him to bed at 11.30

Great to hear Nibbles is doing so well and is out of the cellar. 23C is wonderful. Enjoy your lovely run Nibbles and your nice dinner It's 22C here and I actually thought of putting on a cardigan, but I don't want to. I'm savouring the cool air while it lasts

for the piggies. I am happy that it’s cooler for the piggies, if you get cold you can put on some extra fur (humans are very clever ) hammy hugs

The piggies and I send lots of hugs back Thank you for the lovely flowers wonderful. I am growing sunflowers in my window box. I will send you pictures of them when they flower 
I trimmed Truffle the guinea pig and took lots of fine fluffy undercoat from him. I prefer doing it now as he finds it a bit stressful and wriggles around a lot 
which makes him hot. So he is a bit more prepared for the heat waves It's nice you can nest freely again without the risk of overheating

i stayed up late last night, I went on my wheel in the cage too mum says I am a little 
Poor Truffle but he must feel better without a warm coat

Has anyone else experienced the following: if Nibbles is running in his wheel nothing can stop him. Unless i scratch my head he stops immediately looks at me for a few seconds as if to say: are you okay? Got mites?
It happend once when i wanted to take him to bed, I tried it out a few times since then… he always responds

Today was the end of heatwave number one with highest temperature of 27 degrees in the sun of course it reached 30. I put the parasols up, ice packs under the cage and mugs on top before I left for work, the temperature still reached 26 inside, but when I got home it felt okay even though.
Nibbles came up to see me when I changed the ice packs and mugs and snatched a small piece of cool apples
then he went back to his cool burrow and since then has been snuggled up there. For the next week it will be cooler thank god
I used to love summer when I was young, can’t imagine that now.

Socks would stop as soon as my thoughts wandered. Our faces must seem huge to them, all our movements and tension magnified. They are quick learners, so might be picking up something from our expression. They can probably hear our breathing or even our heart beatThey do seem curious if we moveOr it might be - hey I thought you were watching me as a number one priority
