Oh just realised that’s Amazon EU - that’s strange. I must have found it through Googling. It is in pounds though, and I remember having the option to choose door it no door.

Thank you. That's the link I saw but on the description further down it says "no front door".
That’s really weird! It looks like the front door option has disappeared. To be honest, it’s still a really great cage and the opening at the top is so big, I think I’d still be happy with it, but the front door is very handy.

Some of the reviews have one with the front door and some don't. Did it have a photo of the front door when you got it? The link comes up as Amazon uk for me :-)

Same here, it takes me to Amazon UK but the link has EU in it which is strange. No pic of front door when I ordered but it had the option to choose ‘with front door.’

Maybe sometimes they have that option and other times just the plain front one. I tried putting it in the basket to see if it came up with an option to choose the one with the front door, but it didn't. So maybe it's hit and miss! I can't find anywhere else in the Uk selling them. Just out of interest, was it the same price with the front door?

Yesp

Yes, exactly the same price. I must have just got lucky that day!

Mochi is super happy with her new enclosure and burrows like crazy now that she has really deep bedding. I had a really lovely well organised area at the bottom with beech chips and eco soil in a Pyrex dish but every night she managed to make an absolute mess and mixes it all together. I used the Niteangel wooden ladder as a fence to separate the bedding but she still somehow manages to mix it all together. Does anyone else have this problem?

Aw that's great news she's happy in there :-) Typical hamster making a mess ha ha. I'll see what others have to say about separating substrates.

Yeah, I get the feeling that all those perfect hamster cage setup photos you see only last a day 🤪
