Aww! He looks like a toddler who falls asleep in their food when they are exhausted. How cute.

Jack contemplating the box with the raisin in it but then he walked over to his food bowl! This is one lazy hamster.

Good idea, Jack. Save the puzzle for tonight when you are full of beans. :)

Jack gets up around 19.00 and asks to come out. I carried him downstairs to see my OH who makes a fuss of him and then i stroked him for a bit. He's very placid and patient. Once he starts edging away i put him on the floor to run around and play. I can always tell when he wants back home because he just sits somewhere waiting to get picked up. If he doesn't want to go home, he'll run off.

Aww, that is just so sweet. He sounds like he enjoys affection.

How lovely that he comes out for a stroke. So why is mine coming out so late then? Your house must be warmer! Or you've got them well trained. Or - they're competitive? One's been out so another wants to come out?

I think they are competitive. Clive and Jack have always wanted out at the same time. I have the devider up and sometimes there's one sniffing on each side wanting to go where the other is.
I just grab one in each hand and swap them over the devider. They are happy then and run off to sniff where the other has been.

Jack just sat on his ramp and looked at me sitting on the floor. I asked if he wanted out and he run straight to his food bowl. That's a no then.

Raffy was like that last night then changed his mind about midnight.

That's Jack for the night now. He filled his pouches and went to his corner nest under a shelf where he built a wall between wheel and corklog. He filled the corklog in and uses it like a step as a shortcut to his nibble stick.

Aw he likes his home doesn't he?

That is very cute. Reminds me of humans settling in front of the tv with food.

My OH just made crackers and cheese so i pinched a couple and run off upstairs to eat them in peace to be met by Jack staring at me! I had to give him a tiny piece of the cheese so i could finally eat mine in peace.

You tried to steal them from your OH, Jack tried to steal them from you!

Jack and Clive like to play in the bin cage i use as storage at the moment.

That's the third time Jack's out freeroaming tonight which is unusual for him because he's a bit of a lazy hamster.
