I haven't cleaned it yet, so its a bit messy...
I have a whimzee alligator chew toy in there, two sand baths, a wheel, some rocks, willow balls, a bendy bridge, some pinecones that have food in them, and some boredom breakers :) do you have any suggestions?

Pretty good start, I like that you're making things with cardboard for your ham! DIY stuff is great, you can do a ton with cardboard, kids glue, and Popsicle sticks. Welcome to the forum, and congrats on getting a hamster! Hope you guys have some amazing memories together

Some suggestions (mainly more bedding xD) :
-Add more bedding until that wheel is just under the lid, and maybe build up the right side a little so they have more depth for burrowing. Great amount of floor space in that enclosure!
-Cant tell from the picture if it's been done, but bedding needs to be pushed down a bit so it can hold a burrow well. Don't see that mentioned a lot for some reason
-Make it easier to access the wheel, sand bath, and dish spot with more bedding so they can climb in easier.
-Take the tape off those boxes and use children's glue instead for safety
-Budget permitting, reptile sections in pet stores have nice items for hams to climb on or explore. Good place to find more clutter, I got two awesome logs for my late buddy that way.
-Make some hamster safe special treats once in a while! You can do a lot with some research and careful selection of ingredients, they will appreciate it a ton.
-Check out more DIY projects on YouTube and what some people have built here. You can make an amazing treat ball by cutting three rings from a paper roll and stuffing it with bedding + a treat inside. I'm adding a pick with said treat ball, a forage board, and roller toy. These types of toys provided a ton of fun, and it's simple to make them easier or more difficult depending on how your ham does

Excellent suggestions from ilguy 👍 I was also going to suggest making it easier to climb on and off the wheel, especially if she gets spooked and disembarks in a hurry. They seem to like an archway over the door of their nestbox, to keep it darker and more secluded, a little entrance passage ❤ Its a lovely set up. Yes, you can settle her into deeper bedding. Cardboard is so nice, it's light and hammies can chew it into any shape they like, customisable, and make it their own 🏡

Great enclosure :-) She has loads to do in there :) Is that a papier mache hide on the right? It looks interesting.

thanks so much! I'll do all of these right away! I did check out the reptile section of the pet store a while ago, but I couldn't find any logs suitable for a hamster 😞

That is an awesome idea! I think I speak for all of us when I say we can't wait to see your ham! Always fun to pop on here and enjoy how cute they are
