Actually, looking at Amazon, Bucatstate have quite a few different wheels. Some look ok and some don't. This is the larger one I saw that is completely clear and smooth and it looks to have gaps at the back where it fixes to the stand and I thought that looked risky. But they might not be gaps as it's clear so maybe it's just looking through the gaps. It looks so smooth though that it must be hard for a hamster to keep a grip, But cork track could be stuck to it.

There is also this 21cm one - it has slits at the back and personally I would worry a hamster might get a toe or foot caught.

So I didn't include those. But the one you linked looks good!
The pets at home wheel is a good size, but it's silent for all of the first 5 minutes of the first run, wouldn't recommend if you are a light sleeper and keep an enclosure in your bedroom12" Tic Tac Metal Wheel (Uk)
These also come in 14". The stand or bar attachments costs extra. These wheels are supposed to be quite heavy, so possibly too heavy to attach to bars, unless it's a very sturdy cage. They have a smooth running surface which may not be the best option for a hamster, but you could attach cork to the inside. They come in various colours.

Omlet 27cm silent wheel with metal stand (Uk, US and Europe)
At just 27cm diameter this is slightly under 11", so more suitable for small to average sized Syrian hamsters, but it's a good silent wheel with a safe sturdy stand and can also be attached to bars. It's also suitable for dwarf hamsters as well

Wheels for Dwarf Hamsters and Roborovski Hamsters
Some dwarf hamsters will happily run in a Syrian sized wheel if it spins well and they can push it, but 9" or 10" is an ideal size for them. Also when considering cage set up, the larger the wheel the less substrate you can fit in sometimes, so if using a Syrian sized wheel that is something to consider.
27cm Omlet wheel (as above for Syrians)
9" Silent Runner Wheel (Uk and US)
Same as the 12" Silent Runner above, except smaller and comes in yellow, cream and glow in the dark light green (moonrunner version). EDIT - the yellow standard version seems hard to find at the moment. The deeper track cream version is available on Amazon and sometimes on ebay and includes the bar attachment plates. You can also try sugar glider shops online. Amazon also has the glow in the dark, light green version.

Oh 100% true. I've had it around 2 months, and it's begun forward tilting.Good to know! I think the longevity and s a bit suspect as well maybe?
Probably worth keeping since it's a cheap option, but you can add a disclaimer that it's not the highest quality.Do you mean the wood and cork Trixie wheel? Or the open hard plastic one? The plastic one with holes is usual reliable for years. but I'm wondering if we should take the open hard plastic one off the list as another member found it didn't last long after purchase.
Yes there aren't so many US wheels listed - I need to update the article! But Niteangel and silent runner wheels are available in US and Uk. However there will be some cheaper US wheels as well I think but the silent runner is quite cheap in the US (costs a lot more in the Uk due to import charges).Probably worth keeping since it's a cheap option, but you can add a disclaimer that it's not the highest quality.
(But take my advice with a grain of salt since I'm from the US)
