Finley did chuck one of the cork pieces out of the way. Not the one he nibbled, he seems to like that one.

Finley is dottery today. He's staggering around a bit and fell onto his back at one point. The ears are up though and he's sniffing out the treats.

Im sorry to hear this. Aging is very sad. Your changes to his tank will help him a lot.

It is sad when age begins to catch up with them but it sounds as though little Finley is quite content in spite of it, if his ears are up & he’s sniffing at his treats he’s probably still quite a happy ham.

I vacuumed around Finley's tank and he surfaced to check what was going on.

He kept dottering about air sniffing so i gave him a bit of apple.

Finley is showing his age now, a bit unsteady on his paws, has been known to fall over and he has a balding patch. But he seems to manage fine, enjoys his food and still goes on his wheel for short runs.

He is thinner but his teeth are fine and he happily chomped on half a brazil nut earlier.

He looks really good for a little old man, they do seem to carry on quite happily almost oblivious to all the signs of aging that we notice!

You can see it quite clearly here. The bald patch is getting bigger but the skin is fine.

Nah, Robos have the scent gland on their belly.

I thought today that his ears look huge. He's getting thinner and his face looks thinner too. Finley used to be a big, round Robo. My first Robo, Gordon also became thinner when he was old. He was well over 2 when he suddenly fell off his roof mid chomp and that was that.
