Ah - just seen this. It's good he is still eating and drinking. I think it would be an idea to contact a vet and ask about him having some pain relief though. They are very good at hiding pain.Yep he still eats and drinks just fine I gave him a couple of small slices of carrot the other day he munched them down just fine
Ok so he's maybe not that bad then. One of my Syrians was a bit like this when older - he was still eating and active, but panting a lot and getting short of breath and having to stop. It was probably a degree of heart failure.Yesterday when I had him out of his cage when he was running around his ears were perked up
I am really sorry to hear thatOk so he's maybe not that bad then. One of my Syrians was a bit like this when older - he was still eating and active, but panting a lot and getting short of breath and having to stop. It was probably a degree of heart failure.
Okay thank you very muchIf he’s eating & drinking ok & his ears are up then I would think it’s just old age, they do get quite wobbly when they age.
If there are no other signs that something is wrong & he still gets around ok then I think he’s ok for now, just keep a close eye on him for any changes.
