He’s certainly very industrious! I’d love to hear his thoughts while he’s doing all this!

I keep thinking the cork are Farleys rusks. They were biscuits for babies. 🤣

Clive really is the most sensitive and jealous hamster i've ever had.
He was sitting by his door this morning staring at me while i sat on the futon watching his new neighbour, foster dwarf Eddie.
I took Clive out and let him sit on my arm so we could watch Eddie together. Clive's ears were on high alert while i reassured him that he will not be neglected and that he will still get the same attention.
When i put him back he climbed onto the back shelf where he had a little heap of hamster mix. I noticed it last night and thought it odd because he doesn't normally leave food on the shelf.
And then Clive chucked bits of food out of his cage and no doubt, it was aimed at his neighbour!
It was only after he had done that, that he went into his house to sleep.
At least Eddie is not getting poops chucked at him like Lilly did.

Oh my gosh! I remember when he tried throwing poops at Lilly. How funny he tried to throw food at Eddie. He really is very protective over you.

Oh that really made me laugh!

Clive tucking into his porridge this morning while Lilly is running around on the floor.
It doesn't bother him when a dwarf is about this time of the day.

He doesn’t look as though he’d let anything distract him from that porridge 😋😍

While i was setting up the hall playground, OH was looking around the hamster room unable to locate freeroaming Clive.
Clive was in the cocosoil in the playbin and blended in so well my OH couldn't see him.
That's Clive in the snuffle box now.

Aww Clive looks like he is having fun there. You give your hamsters such fun when free roaming.

I've been and still am very preoccupied with Jack. Monday evening i sat mainly by Jack's cage and poor little Clive climbed onto my lap to get my attention.
I'm making a fuss of him tonight and we had a game of hide and seek which wasn't planned.

I put him on the floor and a minute later i remembered that the bedroom door was still open.
Soon as i went in i saw his reflection in the mirror. Of course he kept legging it when i called him and run around under the bed with me trying to find him.
He did come back to me eventually as he always does. He enjoyed a head stroke and some quiet time with me after that.
Clive must find it strange not to have Jack's scent to sniff out when he's freeroaming.

That sounds like Clive played catch with you. He really is so sweet and so close to you. It is understandable to have been busy with Jack right now. Your bond is so precious.

Clive wanted back in his cage. The cardboard box is his wash corner.

Aww, he has a shower in his cage! How cute and clever. Unlike robos who suddenly stop and wash anywhere. Hehe.

Evenings must be so entertaining in your house apart from the hard work. It must be really enjoyable to watch everybody potter about.

There's no hard work involved. Doesn't take long to set up the hall and the hamster room is permanently set up which is handy if one wants out during the day.

Great photo of Clive blending in with the cocosoil. It’s great they all enjoy the playroom and their out of cage time, it must be lovely with all the hamster activity.
