Hello everyone!
I just got my new buddy about three days ago. I don't know whether Chubbs is male or female yet but I just say him for now. I don't know much about him. The people I got him from said he was under a year and a long haired Syrian. He's a cool little dude. Friendly and busy. He came with his 60 gallon tank and some accessories. I just went out yesterday and got him a huge wheel as his old one was around 5 inches and looked about big enough for a mouse! He hopped on his new wheel right away! So happy! I got him some whimzie treats and some reptile zoo sand which he has already started to use as his toilet so that's a nice easy way to clean. He loves black beans. But he also will enjoy a blueberry, broccoli, apple, and of course carrot. Next paycheque, I'm going to add some height to his cage. I'd love in the future to split the cage from the bedding for half and then substrate (coco dirt) for the second half. I think he would really enjoy that. He's not too much into burrowing yet but I think that's only because he had just 2 inches or so of bedding in his cage with his prior owners. I added a ton more so he's kind of getting the hang of it. I'll see if I can add some photos!
