Was it when you moved you just decided to keep the one chicken? I'm guessing the others were rehomed. And yes she looks amazing for age 10!

No we moved with 3 chickens. The others had passed. That was three years ago and since then 2 more also died cos they were old!

Chicken is the only one left.

I only have one chicken because I can’t intro any others Maz. At her age they would stress her out!

They all died of old age, mostly. When the 4 new ones came along I’d had the others a good while. Plus a few others in between! I have been keeping chickens for about 20 years.

This was my very first chicken she was a cochin (breed), called Skye
