I have just bought the 8 inch wheel but find it is very stiff to turn.

Has anybody else had this issue?

Wish I had gone for the nite angel one now.

I haven't used one before Tulsi, but if it's stiff to turn I would definitely return it - it sounds faulty. My favourite wheel for robos used to the 9" Rodipet wood and cork one - but they don't make that any more unfortunately. Some people use the 9" silent runner as well - but maybe you wanted an open wheel. I think with the Niteangel ones, people tend to go to the bigger 10" one for robos as those wheels spin so fast and the bigger wheel slows them down a bit so they don't fly out. I may be wrong there.

Having said that an 8" wheel is perfectly fine as well - I only got 9" because there wasn't an 8" available at the time!

Good point re the bigger wheel. Something animal did mention that on their wonderful video about all things niteangel.

The bucastate is all boxed up ready to go back.

I have the nite angel wheels for my dwarf hamsters. They are silent (well until waffles decided to dig her bedding up and onto the platform and block the wheel so it squeaked! 🤷🏻‍♀️😆)

I sent it back. Now to buy a niteangel one!
