That’s such a lovely photo, Albert looks very content & happy with his cuddles 😍

Just seen what I think was a little money spider in Albert's empty veg bowl. Albert got there before me and ate it. Should I be worried? Made laugh because Albert started searching my hands to see if I had anymore 😂

I’d be very surprised if my hams hadn’t eaten a few spiders over the years & it’s never done them any harm, feel a bit sorry for the spiders though!

No need to be worried, eating spiders is fine for hams. Maybe Albert would also like some crickets?
 
That really made me laugh. I hope he enjoyed it. Yes much better than a slug! Syrians I’ve had have tended to ignore insects as if welcoming sharing a home with them! Maybe dwarfs are better at catching food!

Mind you I still haven’t forgotten Raffy and the slug! But he’s have had no chance with something faster like a spider.
 
The first ones are roasted and the second are just the hearts so I am not sure they will have the same nutrition but they will be safe. I think these ones may be better:

I usually buy mine from Mixarama so I am not sure where else sell the whole seed.
