When I put Albert back in his cage he was very sleepy and was struggling to keep his eyes open. I put him right next to his house entrance so he could go straight to his nest. Albert turned to look at me, then nibbled a flower and then went off to his nest. So very sweet

Just got Albert a small bag of Nature's Variety, 100% chicken. They are freeze dried raw.
Does anyone know how long I can keep them once they are opened? It doesn't say on the packaging. The use by date is 09-03-25.

Those should keep ok until the best before date as long as the bag is sealed or you put them in an air tight container.

I gave Albert a small piece of the above chicken. He was a bit unsure to begin with. He then took it from me and sat in his coconut hide eating it. I always know when Albert really loves eating something because his body jumps like he's got hiccups. When he finished he licked his front paws and legs. That made me giggle

Albert was having a sleep underneath his camel. After a while I decided to lift the camel's tail to check on Albert. He was still a sleep. The next thing I know Albert is up trying to pull the camel's tail back down. I forgot to put the camel's tail back down and Albert must have woken up and noticed. Albert couldn't reach the tail and gave me a very hard stare. So I rushed over and put the tail back. Albert went back underneath his camel and had another sleep.
Note to self - remember to put the camel's tail back.
