Teddy had a good night last night, he was up along time, he's always on his wheel alot which is good considering the amount of food he takes interest in. I'm going to try him with some different things to night.oh if only he knew, don't know what yet, I'll have a rummage. He's taking more interest in his hideouts as well which is lovely! Ness

Nibbkes loves his wooden balls (a wooden giant bead with a string through it) he plays with than frequently. I made them myself, they were cheap and easy

Don't know why I put the above twice... I must be cracking up Teddy had a wonderful night last night he must have been up about 5 hours playing on his wheel and exploring. I gave him a small piece of cauliflower I don't know why I haven't before I always tend to give him a small piece of broccoli only a couple of times a week but I wondered if he'd like a change. He loved it so that's great! He's looking very good too which is the main thing. Ness

Sorted So he won't be more than about 14 weeks old. Still quite young He's the equivalent of a 10 year old child approx at the moment

I've noticed that Teddy doesn't seem to like the corn in his food dish, would it be more alluring on the cob do you think or would it be a waste?Ness

Well, I was having a lovely chat with teddy last night,it was around 12.30 am he was sat on his cleaning sand pit lid where he tends to spend a lot of his time.it was lovely he seemed to be really listening to what I was saying. . Probably wasn't but I like to think he was, all of a sudden a really low jet flew over head, it was really loud and that was it our magical moment was over. He went in his big tube and I went to bed. He got back up not long after and was up a good 5 hours but it was a shame our chat had to end Ness

I don’t like those low flyers 🫩 I was snoozing on my balcony once and one flew over. Nearly had a heart attack!

Don't worry about the question above about corn. I've noticed he's now started to eat the small corn pieces in his food so that's good. Although I might still try him on small corn on the cobs in the future Ness

I sometimes get fresh baby corn and cut a slice off one for the hamsters and they seem to like it. I think sometimes they are not keen on the hard/dried corn in mixes.

Teddy had a good weekend! He's been up foraging, exercising on his wheel and having a lovely wash on top of his favourite sand bath with lid. He's also started staying up to see my hubby get up in the morning, he just sits there watching him have his morning cuppa, it's very cute. He's a lovely hammy wouldn't change a thing. Apart from getting him to bring me a coffee in the morning,but after 50 years I haven't managed to get the husband to do that either.Ness

I think that wish is a bit ambitious, but don’t give up on your husband who knows… he might surprise you

Well... I'm having a lot of fun with my mum at the moment! It's so funny how she's getting up from her slumber every night, she quietly comes towards the enclosure in her jammies ( quite nice ones I must say) she immediately starts with hello teddy... hello teddy are you ok . I wait until she's been there a while and I've had a good wash and then I go into my house oh it's so funny to hear her trying to coax me out. I'm going to do it a little while longer,I really don't want to make things too easy. Of cause I come back out once I hear her going back up to bed. I do love her, she spoils me rotten but I am enjoying it at the moment so I'll carry on for a while haha teddy
