Sydney

Sadly tonight I found Sydney in his forever sleep.
💔🌈

Sleep tight little one. I hope you were happy in the short time I had you. I knew you'd not be able to stay long with me as you were already a senior when I offered you a forever home. I kept that promise and loved you to the end. Xx

Oh I'm so sorry Wren. I will miss him too and I'm sure we all will. I had a real soft spot for Sydney. At least it sounds like he didn't suffer. He was lucky he had you in his last days. Play well over the Rainbow Bridge Sydney 🌈

I’m so sorry for your loss Wren, Sydney was a lovely boy & must have been so happy to end his days with so much love in his forever home with you, it’s hard to lose him after such a short time even when you’re prepared for that, I hope it’s a comfort for you at this sad time to know what a special thing you did for him bringing him home.

Run free & play well at the bridge Sydney 🌈 ❤️

I'm sorry to hear this, he always looked so happy in his photos and was such a character. You did a wonderful thing for a wonderful hamster. Thinking of you

I am so sorry to hear such sad news. Sydney was so happy to find you. You gave him such a wonderful forever home. He was a very special boy.

Thanks all. I'm glad he went peacefully and hopefully he enjoyed his retirement with me.

The Weirdest thing happened. I'd buried Sydney and then went to put the box I carried him downstairs on in the bin/recycling. And there was a robin sat at his graveside. It then hopped up onto the brick I put as a headstone.

That is really nice. A little sign for you that all is well and a Robin to send comfort.
